Subject: Civic Education Funders

Description: The purpose of this group of education funders is to support members’ learning about civic
education. This includes but is not limited to learning about what civic education is, what
research indicates about its best practices, what the experiences are for educators and learners in
civic education today, and what is needed for civic education to take root, improve, and spread.
This group’s members voluntarily gather to learn together, share resources, and explore
possibilities for funding civic education in PK-12 or higher education settings, in formal or
informal learning environments, as well as through programs, projects, or collaborations.
